A victorian style table and some BRIGHT COLOURs

Dear Readers,
I am obsessed with decorating furnitures these days.
*
To be honest, I always use colours like pale pink, pale blue, pale green etc. So, I decided to use some Bolder colours-- Like this.
Turquoise blue :D :D IT turns out pretty well. I love how bright it is. The peach colours of the petals echo with the blue so well !!!

Coral Reef Color Wreath and Free colour palette

Dear Readers,
Do you like coral reef colours? For me, I think it is very lovely. In fact, I am experimenting with coral reef colours right now and would like to give everybody some advice on doing coral reef colours.

Q1" What is it?
Coral reef colours mean.. well, the colours of different sorts of coral reefs. Literally :D

The colour of corals are usually bright and sharp. I, however, prefer a more dreamy colour scheme. Therefore, I kinda add some brown into each coral colour.
Like this:
Tell me what you think & comment below :D If you want me to make colour palette (eg. shabby chic, country chic... ) Just tell me ^^

Tutorial - Making a miniature dollhouse wreath base

Dear Readers,
It has been years I haven't posted a tutorial. Today, I'd like to show you how I make my wreath base.

This is what a wreath looks like.  As you might know, the process of making a wreath is simple. 1. Make the wreath base. 2. Stick petals on. 3.Color it.

However, there is no miniature size wreath base that could be sell online and you might need to do it by yourself.

STEP 1:
Buy some very thin iron wire, you could get it from local craft store. You could also use different wires in different sorts of colour. In here, I use three thin iron wires.
                                **************************************************

STEP 2:
Use a green tape to tape the three wires together. You could get the green tape from local craft store as well. Make sure you tape the three wires completely. It could be a little bit tricky since the wires are too thin. Be patient.
                                  **************************************************

STEP 3:
Circle the wires for two times. This step determines the diameter of your wreath. So you could use any tools that is in a cylinder shape. In here, I use my little finger because I want the wreath to be smaller. (So that you won't need to make TONS OF PETALS to stick onto it) @@

 **************************************************
STEP 4:
Bend the wire around the wreath. Bend for two rounds. Just cut the remaining wire parts off. Make sure there is no sharp edges. And you're done!

Any questions, just comment below and I'll try my best to answer it.

Cottage Chic

Dear Readers,
It is summer time. In hong kong, it is always raining... I don't really love rainy days as I couldn't take good pictures :<
Anyways... I wanted to show you a iron gate made by my teacher-- Amy. She made this from straight iron wire (wow!)

Do you like sunflowers? heeeee xd
Btw, a fun fact.
Do you see the small brown sand on the last picture?
I didn't spread some in front of the pot. I accidentally spill out some dirt to the green wood table.
Match perfectly, right? haha.

Alice's Garden

Dear Readers,

I am setting up my Etsy store recently. Making miniatures is what I do 24/7.  But the fact is, I don't like duplicating miniatures. Therefore, every product is unique. It seems to be a great selling point at the first place, however, I found it very difficult to do different products everyday :(
Anyways, as I promised myself at the first place, I need to follow my own rules  ^-^
The photo is what I am working right now. */ Mushrooms, rabbits and tea/*
Do they remind you of a story??

I don't even know do you remember me... Well, to recall your memory, at some point of your life, you had found my dollhouse miniatures and therefore read my blog.
After 2 years of studying, I had decided to make a come back! In fact, my Etsy has been opened for a while already and it is doing great (:
I am attending miniature lessons at Amy's workshop regularly. IT IS AWESOME ^^
Anyway, here are some photos

These items are sold!
I'm very excited about it, probably because I had not opened my store for such a long time. Knowing people still support my miniatures brings me joy.
